Poetry London Spring 2021 Online Readings

Jay Bernard is the 2020 Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year. Their collection Surge (Chatto, 2017) won the Ted Hughes Award and was shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize.

Major Jackson’s latest collection is The Absurd Man (WW Norton, 2020). He is the Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Chair in the Humanities at Vanderbilt University and Poetry Editor of The Harvard Review.

Fran Lock is the author of seven poetry collections, most recently Contains Mild Peril (Out-Spoken Press, 2019). Her eighth collection Hyena! is due later this year from Poetry Bus Press.

Holly Pester is currently based in the West Midlands, teaching at University of Essex. Her collection, Comic Timing, is out with Granta.

Jacob Polley‘s fourth book of poems, Jackself, won the T S Eliot Prize for poetry.

Nicole Sealey is the author of Ordinary Beast (Ecco, 2017) and The Animal After Whom Other Animals Are Named (Northwestern, 2016).
