Poetry London evening at the British Council in Paris – Thursday 26 November

Invited poets
Patrick Brandon is a poet and artist. His first collection, A Republic of Linen, came out with Bloodaxe Books in 2009 and his work has been included in recent issues of Poetry London, in Identity Parade: New British and Irish Poets (Bloodaxe, 2010) and online as part of The Poetry Archive.
Rebecca Perry graduated from Manchester’s Centre for New Writing in 2008. Her pamphlet, little armoured (Seren), won the Poetry Wales Purple Moose Prize and was a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice. Her first book-length collection, Beauty/Beauty (Bloodaxe Books, 2015), was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Throughout 2014 Rebecca worked in collaboration with the Glej Theatre in Slovenia, writing a performance piece called Silent City, exploring the lives of European youth.
Sean O’Brien is one of the UK’s most respected poets. His recent publications include Collected Poems (2012), The Drowned Book, and The Beautiful Librarians (2015), which received the Roehampton Poetry Prize and is a Poetry Book Society Choice. Previous books have received the T.S. Eliot Prize, Forward Prize and been shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize. He is Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University.
