Letter to Contributors Regarding the Digital Archive

Dear Contributor,

This is a courtesy letter to inform you of a new and exciting project at Poetry London.

As a contributor to Poetry London, we thought that you would be pleased to know that as we approach the landmark of our 100th issue, we will be making our back issues available to subscribers and institutions digitally from Spring 2021.

This new digital archive is a timely and significant project, which will bring thirty years of vibrant, vital poetry to a wider readership, and enable academics, tutors and practitioners, as well as the enthusiastic reader, to access a wealth of poems that have shaped the last three decades.

Since 1988 Poetry London, a registered arts charity and international poetry magazine, has been a meeting place where acclaimed contemporary poets can share pages with exciting new names. Published three times a year for more than a quarter of a century, each issue contains new poetry, incisive reviews, interviews and features. This upcoming milestone represents an opportunity for us to celebrate the exceptional diversity of work that has found voice in our pages.

I am delighted that readers will have the opportunity to look back over this trove of poetry, including your own vital contribution, and new audiences will be able to discover wonderful work from across the history of the magazine.

Although this is not a new publication, and therefore no action or reply is necessary, please do feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. If you would like a list of your work within the relevant publications as it now appears in the digital archive, or if you would like to request your work be removed from the archive, please contact us on admin@poetrylondon.co.uk.
