Seeking New Appointees to the Board Of Trustees
Poetry London seeks new non-executive members to join the Board of Trustees, to advise and support the magazine to achieve its artistic vision.
We are looking for individuals with skills in the following areas:
- fundraising
- legal and copyright
- finance and accounting
We are also seeking poet-trustees with a wide network of contacts in contemporary poetry, the arts, events organising or publishing.
This is a particularly exciting time, with broadening audiences and increased media coverage bringing new readers to the world of poetry. Poetry London has for three decades been a place where great poetry happens, bringing together the emerging and the established to an international audience. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference to the landscape of contemporary poetry, to bring your skills and experience to support us in the next stages of our development.
The Board meets three times a year in London, and members are also invited to attend our launches at Kings Place. Trustees are not remunerated, but we can cover reasonable travel expenses.
If you would like to be involved in this exciting and long-standing magazine, and could bring valuable knowledge and expertise to the organisation, send a one-page covering letter explaining your interest and suitability, along with a CV, to Ellen McAteer, General Manager, ellen@poetrylondon.co.uk, by midnight on 30 June 2020.
