We are extremely grateful to the following organisations, whose support is so vital to the continuation and development of our work:
ARTS COUNCIL ENGLAND: Poetry London is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation. NPOs are leaders in their areas, with a collective responsibility to protect and develop our national arts and cultural ecology.
CLORE DUFFIELD FOUNDATION: Our annual poetry competition, the Poetry London Clore Prize (funded by the Clore Duffield Foundation), encourages new work from poets of all levels and backgrounds. Prizewinners are published in the magazine and featured at public readings to celebrate the launch of each issue.
FENTON ARTS TRUST: Our New Poets Mentoring Scheme (currently funded by the Fenton Arts Trust) enables poets from a wide range of backgrounds, and of limited means, to work with a prominent mid-career mentor through constructive critique of their poems, advice on routes to publication, and confidence-building support.
COCKAYNE FOUNDATION/LONDON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION: Poetry London Readings Programme, funded by the Cockayne Foundation through the London Community Foundation, promotes the best of new, inovative and cross-genre work in poetry to diverse audiences. It allows young and emerging artists to present work alongside the most celebrated international poets, bringing an audience both live and online to engage with literature.
GOLSONCOTT FOUNDATION: Our Readings Programme is now generously supported by the Golsoncott Foundation, an arts-funding trust whose declared object is 'to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts generally'.
We would also like to thank the T S ELIOT FOUNDATION and the MILDRED DUVEEN CHARITABLE TRUST for their generous support.
