About Time

Not long ago, someone told me that life is long.  It was a nice thing to hear, when all around us reminders of the opposite abound.  In this workshop we’ll take a bit of time to explore together how time, poetry and writing have related to each other and to our lives, and how we can use the time we have as meaningfully as we can.

Facilitator biography

Christie Williamson is a Shaetlan poet, essayist and translator based in Glasgow where he helps run Tell it Slant Books. His debut pamphlet Arc o Möns won the Calum MacDonald Memorial Award. Two full length collections of his work have been published by Luath Press – Oo an Feddirs 2015 and Doors tae Newye 2020.
