Poetry Foundation

Chicago-based independent literary organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry. They publish Poetry magazine and maintain a rich website with poems, features, resources, programmes, etc.

Poems in the Waiting Room

This registered arts in health charity supplies poetry cards for waiting NHS patients. Currently 30,000 are distributed quarterly nationwide to 1400 NHS surgeries. The poems need take account of a patient’s anxieties.
